Plane Place Aviation has received approval from Mexico’s AFAC as a certified repair station, enabling the MRO provider to expand services for operators of Mexico-registered aircraft.
Based at Cleburne Regional Airport (KCPT) in Texas, an hour’s flight time north of the U.S.-Mexico border, Plane Place Aviation is an independent MRO facility founded in 2022 by Tristan Noe and Travis Roberson. The company specializes in maintaining Bombardier Challengers and Textron Aviation Citations and Hawkers. Services include airframe inspections and maintenance, structural repairs, pre-purchase inspections, 24/7 AOG assistance, and maintenance management. Plane Place Aviation also offers engine, avionics, wheel and tire, battery, and additional accessory capabilities for those airplanes.
“We are very excited to become AFAC approved. With our centralized southern location, we are in a prime spot to be the first and only stop for Mexico operators to come for maintenance,” said director of maintenance Tristan Noe.
“We are honored to receive our AFAC certification, which is only accomplished by our team’s dedication to excellence and our commitment to provide the highest quality of safety and reliable services to our valued customers,” said Travis Roberson, v-p of maintenance.
