Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is offering aviation-focused short courses and seminars aimed at aviation professionals. The classes—which begin in April at its Daytona Beach, Fla., and Prescott, Ariz. campuses—can be completed independently or as part of the certificate of management in aviation safety.
The ERAU certificate requires completion of three five-day courses in occupational safety and health (OSHA) and aviation ground safety; aviation safety program management; and aircraft accident investigation and management (basic or advanced). At the Daytona Beach campus, OSHA and aviation ground safety will be offered April 13 to 17; aviation safety program management, April 20 to 24; and aircraft accident investigation and management, April 27 to May 1. Accident investigation will be offered at the Prescott campus May 4 to 8. More information is available from Sarah Ochs at (386) 226-6928.
