Counter-drone solutions provider High Point Aerotechnologies (HPA) is expanding its reach in Southeast Asia with the establishment of a regional subsidiary in Singapore dubbed High Point Technologies (HPT).

The additional facility will serve as a hub to spur HPA’s sales, marketing, customer support, and training activities. Moreover, HPT will strive to strengthen HPA's relationships with key regional stakeholders, including governments, civil aviation authorities, law enforcement agencies, and critical infrastructure providers, the company said in a written statement.

A provider in counter uncrewed autonomous systems across air, land, and maritime sectors, HPA is on-site at the Singapore Airshow to inaugurate its new subsidiary. The company also plans to conduct job interviews for various positions at the air show.

“We are thrilled to open our doors in Singapore, a dynamic and forward-thinking nation at the forefront of technological advancement," said HPA CEO Al White. “This expansion underscores our commitment to providing comprehensive counter-drone solutions to governments and organizations across Southeast Asia, as we have in the region for over 10 years.

“With our dedicated team of experts based in Singapore, we are confident in our ability to address the evolving drone threats in the region and ensure the safety and security of our partners.”

Active in 15 countries, HPA employs physical solutions in conjunction with its DefenseOS open architecture software, which enables the swift detection, identification, tracking, and defeat of Group 1-3 uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) plus conventional and autonomous threats. The company’s portfolio includes various integrated, interoperable solutions that offer fixed, mobile, and distributed counter-UAS capabilities for civilian, military, and critical infrastructure clients.
