Textron Aviation will expand its European parts and distribution center in Düsseldorf, Germany, by 50% this year, adding approximately 1,000 sq m to the facility. The Wichita-based manufacturer said this expansion will support an estimated 5,000 additional parts and improve fulfillment performance for customers across Europe.
The expanded facility will enable the local support team to grow and enhance the company’s ability to scale operations to meet European demand. The expansion provides faster access to critical parts for customers across the region, the company said.
Textron Aviation Aftermarket Parts and Distribution operates a global network of seven parts distribution centers and 17 stockrooms. The organization maintains more than 150,000 unique part numbers and employs more than 600 professionals worldwide.
The European center has supported regional customers for more than a decade. The company said the expansion reinforces its commitment to customer support and continued aftermarket growth in Europe.
Earlier this week, Textron Aviation said it received an STC for Gogo 5G air-to-ground connectivity installation in a range of Citations and is offering aftermarket Starlink satcom installations in the 560XL series, citing customer demand for enhanced connectivity options.
