California Legislators Continue Campaign Against Helo Noise

U.S. Reps. Brad Sherman, Howard Berman and Adam Schiff are accelerating their efforts to secure passage of H.R. 2677, the Los Angeles Residential Noise Relief Act. The legislation requires the FAA to issue helicopter noise regulations for Los Angeles County, including designated flight paths and minimum altitudes over residential areas. Law enforcement, EMS and military helicopters would be exempt from the bill.
