European low-cost carrier Wizz Air today signed a memorandum of understanding to buy 110 Airbus A321neos. The agreement, signed at the Paris Air Show, also includes “uncommitted purchase rights” for up to 90 more of the narrowbodies. Deliveries are due to begin in 2019.


At list prices the A321neo firm orders are worth approximately $13.7 billion. As of the end of Thursday afternoon, Airbus reported total announced business from the show amounting to $57 billion, covering 124 aircraft. Firm orders announced amounted to $16.3 billion.
