Pattonair has won a contract to manage the supply chain for Parker Aerospace (Hall 4, Stand 4660) Fluid Systems Division. The contract, which was announced July 15, adds about 1,500 new parts to Pattonair’s supply chain. It will support the fluid systems division’s controls, fuel specialty products, hydraulics, and engine pneumatics lines.
Pattonair (Hall 1, Stand 1140) will help Parker Fluid Systems in relation to several platforms it is a supplier for—primarily the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 and Trent 7000 aero engines; the Airbus A320; the Lockheed C-130; and the CFM56-5B and -7B. The work is expected to expand to include the Gulfstream G650, Airbus A350, and Textron Cessna Citations.
The partnership is expected to lower Parker’s supply chain costs and improve parts availability. Overall, the agreement underscores the companies' commitment to “streamline the supply chain,” Pattonair chief executive Wayne Hollinshead said.
Pattonair is based in the UK, with facilities around the world. It will support Parker Aerospace’s work from its U.S. office in Naples, Florida.
