ST Engineering Aerospace Wins MBH Contract from Solaseed Air

This week at the Farnborough Airshow, ST Engineering Aerospace secured a multi-year component maintenance contract from Solaseed Air. Under the new agreement, ST Engineering Aerospace will expand its scope of support services for the airline’s fleet of Boeing 737-800s.

“We are happy that Solaseed Air has chosen to continue the partnership with ST Engineering aerospace for their component maintenance needs, which have changed through their fleet growth and maintenance planning,” said ST Engineering Aerospace president Lim Serh Ghee. “Such long-term partnerships enable us to fulfill our proposition in providing the highly flexible and customized MHB program to meet the evolving needs of our customers.”

ST Engineering Aerospace’s maintenance-by-the-hour (MBH) program involves a global network of distribution centers, satellite stores, and repair shops, allowing airlines to choose a range of support services and pay a corresponding flight-hour rate. The company provides MHB component support to more than 20 operators flying more than 600 aircraft in the Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East.
