Emirates Airline plans to restart operations from Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3 to accommodate additional repatriation flights to Jakarta, Tunis, Algiers, Manila, Tapei, and Chicago, supplementing recently relaunched operations to London and Frankfurt scheduled to continue until April 19, the airline said Monday.

Emirates has scheduled the first of the newly announced repatriation flights for April 15 to Jakarta and Manila. The Manila service involves two flights, the second of which the airline has scheduled for April 16.

The airline plans to take off for Taipei and Chicago on April 18, marking its first U.S. flight from Dubai since the UAE suspended all passenger flights out of the country last month.

Emirates plans to fly three times to Kabul starting on April 16, a single flight to Tunis on April 15, and a service to Algiers on April 16.

Emirates said it will allow only citizens of the destination country and those who meet its entry requirements to board and to require customers to follow all health and safety measures required by the UAE authorities and the country of destination.

The airline will not allow online check-in and seat selection, nor will it accept any cabin baggage other than items such as laptops, handbags, briefcases, and baby items. Although it will make available onboard food and beverages, it will modify packaging and presentation to reduce contact during meal service and the risk of infection. Finally, passengers must adhere to social distancing guidelines during their journey and wear their own masks when at the airport and on board the aircraft. Emirates said it would disinfect each aircraft in Dubai after each journey.
