Liebherr Aerospace and El Salvador-based MRO specialist Aeroman are cooperating on maintenance for heat exchangers on board Airbus A320 aircraft.
“We are pleased to have Aeroman join our network of partners for cleaning, testing, and repair of the A320 heat exchangers,” said Joël Cadaux, director of business and services—customer services for Liebherr Aerospace and Transportation. “We look forward to the collaborative support for airline operators in the region.”
Liebherr Aerospace Saline, Michigan, will provide major repair services to Aeroman, including re-cores used to reconstitute heat exchangers in need of replacement.
With more than 35 years of experience, Aeroman, which can support all major commercial aircraft platforms, can accommodate up to 46 narrow-body aircraft inside its six hangars at the same time.
Liebherr-Aerospace also has expanded its international business by providing landing gear and air management systems for the China-based Comac C919 program, which flew its first commercial service last month.
