Ontic, a licensor and manufacturer of complex engineered parts for aerospace and defense industries, has become an associate member of the Americas Aerospace Quality Group (AAQG).
AAQG, a cooperative aerospace industry group in North, Central, and South America, is part of the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG), which works to maintain aerospace industry manufacturing standards.
Ontic boasts many years of experience manufacturing complex engineered parts and providing repair services for legacy aircraft, both in the military and commercial segments. It manufactures and supports parts under license to OEMs that have elected to offload production of those parts to free up resources for other work. Ontic's portfolio includes more than 7,500 parts and components for fuel measurement systems, avionics, instruments, and controls.
“Becoming members of the AAQG demonstrates Ontic’s commitment to quality throughout our operation, as well as our passion to contribute to the success of the aerospace, defense, and space community,” said Alex Olmedo, director of quality at Ontic's Chatsworth, California, facility. “We will work to play our part in shaping improvements in quality standards across our industry.”
