GE Acquires Everest VIT

General Electric has acquired Everest VIT, a Welch Allyn subsidiary focused on remote visual inspection equipment for industrial applications. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed, but Everest VIT will now become part of GE Inspection Technologies, headquartered in Huerth, Germany.
