Air-taxi Hopeful Pogo Co-founder Quits

Donald Burr recently left air-taxi hopeful Pogo to “pursue other opportunities,” according to a company statement. Burr, with former American Airlines chief Robert Crandall, established Pogo in May last year to develop a national on-demand, regional-based air-taxi network using hundreds of very light twinjets. However, the company did not realize its goal of getting off the ground this year with the first group of an intended 75 Adam A700s, as certification of the new very light jet has slipped to late next year.
