South African MRO Firm Adding P&WC PT6

CSC Africa, a maintenance, repair and overhaul facility based at Lanseria Airport in Johannesburg, will introduce P&WC PT6 overhaul services by the end of the summer. The company, a subsidiary of a joint venture between P&WC and MTU of Germany, is enlarging its facility, reconfiguring its engine test cell and adding to its maintenance staff. P&WC said there are more than 800 PT6A turboprop engines in operation in corporate, airline and military applications in the region.
