The Alliant integrated avionics and autopilot suite received an STC for installation in the Beech King Air 200 during the NBAA Convention. Alliant is a partnership between autopilot maker S-Tec and avionics supplier Avidyne. The King Air 200 installation includes two Avidyne Envision EXP5000 primary flight displays with built-in solid-state gyros and air-data system and an EX500 multifunction display coupled with S-Tec’s IntelliFlight 2100 digital automatic flight control system. Installations at Alliant dealers were scheduled to begin this month.
