Avantair, Landmark ink Piaggio maintenance deal

Landmark Aviation and Avantair announced a five-year maintenance service agreement for Landmark to provide service, including heavy maintenance inspections, for the fractional carrier’s fleet of Piaggio Avantis. The value of the contract is $5 million over five years and couldincrease if additional aircraft are serviced.

The agreement includes routine inspections, C and D checks for the fractional carrier’s current fleet of Avantis and the 36 Avanti IIsit has on order. Landmark’s Greensboro operation will provide airframe, engine and avionics service in addition to parts sales and a full range of FBO amenities.
