Representatives from Lux Aviation Engineering, the Tucson, Ariz. battery and flight controls maker, are on hand at Booth No. 1079 to acquaint attendees with the company’s capabilities and expertise.

Mark Lukso, Lux Aviation president, announced on the eve of the convention that his company has signed a memorandum of understanding with Zetetic Institute to apply Zetetic’s wide experience in optics, high-precision metrologies and laser technologies to Lux Aviation’s activities.

In addition, Lux Aviation plans to promote Zetetic’s expertise to other aviation suppliers and manufacturers.

Lux Aviation Engineering brings several decades of the Lukso family’s combined aviation experience to the design, development and introduction of aviation products ranging from flight control and navigation systems to battery, battery charging and power electronics products as well as aircraft security systems and intra-aircraft wireless systems.

Lux Aviation also announced that it has named Mike Hauck director of business development. Hauck for the past 28 years has filled various engineering and marketing support managerial posts with the Learjet operation of Bombardier Aerospace.
