The Alliant integrated avionics and autopilot suite received FAA supplemental type certification for the Beech King Air 200 yesterday. Alliant is a partnership between autopilot manufacturer S-Tec and avionics-maker Avidyne. The King Air 200 installation includes two Avidyne Envision EXP5000 PFDs with built-in solid-state gyros and air-data system and an EX500 MFD coupled with S-Tec’s Intelli-Flight 2100 digital flight control system. Installations at Alliant dealers should begin his quarter.
