Raytheon Beech King Air C90A, Besancon, France, Oct. 18, 2006–The French-registered King Air crashed on takeoff in VMC from La Veze Airport and was destroyed. The pilot, copilot and two passengers were killed. According to the NTSB, the German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accidents Investigation is investigating the accident. Operated by Lyon-based Flowair Aviation, the airplane was en route to Amiens to pick up a human organ for transplant. The two passengers were surgeons.
