At the NBAA Convention in October, international design giant Gianni Versace of Milan previewed a number of exclusive Versace Design signature pieces for business jet cabin interiors. Earlier this year, Versace announced a partnership with TAG Group, parent company of TAG Aviation, to create an exclusive interior design service for owners of private jets. The alliance called for TAG Aircraft Interiors to act as marketing and sales representatives. Shown at NBAA was a photograph of an executive chair created as a proof-of-concept for the prospective client of a large private jet. Upholstered in Versace Italian leathers, the chair was designed with a white leather base, an embossed Versace signature Greek Key fret in the central panel, and silver steel inserts on the hand-rests. The chair was manufactured by Syncro Aircraft Interiors of Van Nuys, Calif.
