Flexjet Reports Brisk Fractional Sales

Bolstered by the introduction of the Challenger 300 and Learjet 40, Dallas-based fractional aircraft ownership operator Flexjet said it saw a 32-percent increase in the sale of shares last year compared with the year before. The month of December was also the strongest in sales Flexjet has seen in more than three years, the company said, and transactions completed during the fourth quarter of last year were up more than 70 percent compared with the same period in 2003. Meanwhile, NetJets Europe said it sold shares in 18 complete aircraft last year, representing an 80-percent increase in sales over 2003.
