Embraer has signed a five-year distribution and logistics agreement with Sydney-based Hawker Pacific covering the supply of EMB-110 Bandeirante and EMB-120 Brasilia spare parts in Australia and the Pacific Rim. Under the agreement, Hawker Pacific will buy Embraer’s entire inventory of spares now housed at its facility in Melbourne, Australia, and assume responsibility for the supply, order processing and distribution of all EMB-110 and EMB-120 spare parts to support the fleet in the region. Hawker Pacific plans to transfer the inventory to its main warehouse facility at Sydney’s Bankstown Airport.
Embraer emphasized that the deal will not affect its field support services, which currently include flight operations and safety support as well as field maintenance and engineering assistance for EMB-110 and EMB-120 operators in Australia and
the Pacific Rim.
