Jet Aviation and Airbus signed a service center agreement for Airbus Corporate Jetliner support. It stipulates Jet Aviation will support the ACJ through its global network and various lines of business including aircraft management, charter, outfitting and refurbishment, maintenance and FBO services.
Jet Aviation will be linked to the Airbus Customer Service organization and will have full access to all Airbus services from technical advice, AOG assistance from the company’s worldwide assistance network of field-service teams, spares and training centers.
Jet Aviation’s Zurich and Dusseldorf maintenance facilities were recently named authorized service centers for the Cessna Citation Sovereign. The designation allows heavy, scheduled line and base maintenance, modifications and engine repair.
The Zurich facility has been an authorized service center since 1976 for the Cessna Citation series, including the Citation X. It offers airframe and engine maintenance, avionics and electrical systems installations, interior refurbishment and exterior painting services to small and medium-size business jets and turboprops.
As a Cessna Citation authorized service center since 1981, Jet Aviation Dusseldorf performs maintenance and avionics services for the Cessna Citation line and the 425/441 Conquest turboprops.
“Both are well established maintenance facilities and we are pleased to expand our relationship with Cessna,” said Heinz Köhli, Jet Aviation’s CEO. “Maintenance staff at both locations have already undergone training at FlightSafety’s Wichita and Pratt & Whitney’s Montreal facilities. We have also made the necessary investment in tooling and spare parts.”
