Content Body

With more than 340 exhibitors signed up by late February, organizers of the fifth Aircraft Interiors Expo 2004 (scheduled to be held from March 30 to April 1 in Hamburg, Germany) expect this show to be the biggest yet, “at least 35 percent bigger than last year.” This year’s show will be highlighted by an interior mockup of the Boeing 7E7 cabin. Among the exhibitors will be a number of business aviation completion and refurbishment component and installation specialists, including B/E Aerospace, Nordam, Marshall Aerospace, Lufthansa Technik, Bell Bespoke Interiors and Goodrich. The last day of seminar sessions will focus on business aviation. Andrew Muirhead, manager of innovation engineering for Lufthansa Technik, will discuss the Hamburg-based company’s new network-integrated cabin equipment (NICE). Michelle Stone of B/E Aerospace will examine the cross pollination of first-class airline and business aviation cabin amenities.
