Helicopter frax provider goes charter and adds S-76

HeliFlite Shares, which has its operations center at Alliance Airport in Texas, obtained its Part 135 charter certificate in February and last month added a pre-owned Sikorsky S-76 it bought from Jet Aviation to its fractional fleet of two Bell 430s that it operates in the New York City area. Said Bill Force, HeliFlite president and COO, “We plan to use the S-76 to do spot charter in the area and as a backup to keep all our fractional flights in-house.” He said he expects to add a fourth helicopter by midsummer. The company plans to introduce a card program next month.
