Jet Aviation delivers Middle Eastern customer’s second BBJ

Jet Aviation in Basel, Switzerland, has delivered a second Boeing Business Jet to an undisclosed Middle Eastern customer. “This is the second aircraft that we have completed for this customer… and our craftsmen were able to complete the project within a six-month period to the customer’s specifications and satisfaction,” said senior v-p and general manager Rainer Albecker. The head-of-state aircraft seats up to 44 passengers and five crewmembers and includes first-class seating, forward and aft club seating areas and a forward lounge with two berthable, three-person divans. The cockpit and cabin are equipped with a six-channel satcom system. The lounge and the forward and aft club seating areas are equipped with two 22-inch monitors in each section, complete with CD/DVD and VCR players and Airshow 400.
