Bizjet completes Spey maintenance event

Tulsa, Okla.-based BizJet International announced the completion of its first Spey midlife event after becoming a Rolls-Royce-authorized overhaul facility.

“After 18 years and countless turbine overhauls behind us, we were still very anxious about our first Rolls engine,” Jace Stone, vice president of sales, marketing and business development, told AIN. “We are proud to have achieved, as a company, another milestone by delivering our first Spey engine on time and on budget. Our launch customer is so pleased he’s committed two additional engines and a GV paint job to us as well.”
