Content Body

Fractional provider CitationShares yesterday announced three new programs for its customers–Preferred Positioning, Caribbean Express and Vector Value Plus. The Preferred Positioning program allows customers to book and purchase–at a steep discount–positioning (deadhead) flights on CitationShares aircraft. Through the program, CitationShares customers will receive a daily e-mail at around 6:30 p.m. listing the next day’s positioning flights available for purchase, with the flights sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Caribbean Express enables CitationShares’ fractional owners to travel to the Caribbean and Costa Rica without incurring repositioning fees. However, this benefit applies only to Saturday trips to and from the Caribbean, and arrival and departure times must also fall within four-hour windows designated by CitationShares. Vector Value Plus allows fractional owners to buy additional hours (independent of their fractional-share allotment) at a discount through the Vector jet-card program. Meanwhile, CitationShares told AIN that it took delivery of its last Citation Bravo and CJ1 this spring; the two light twinjet models will be superceded by the CJ3, which is expected to enter the fractional provider’s fleet late next month.
