Bombardier Expands Completions Network

Midcoast Aviation and Savannah Air Center were selected as factory authorized preferred completion centers to conduct interior completions for the Bombardier Global 5000 and Global Express XRS. Based in St-Louis, Mo., Midcoast Aviation, is a full-service aircraft maintenance, modification and completions provider, including avionics and exterior paint services. Midcoast has a long-standing relationship with Bombardier, having performed completions on Challengers since 1980, and more recently has done maintenance and interior refurbishment on Global Expresses. Midcoast will begin Global aircraft completions immediately. Savannah Air Center is a full-service aviation center offering corporate aircraft maintenance, avionics installation, interior completions and exterior painting at its facility in Savannah, Ga. As a Bombardier-authorized service facility, Savannah Air Center has performed work on the Challenger and Global product lines. The shop is scheduled to receive its first green Global for interior completion late this year. Bombardier also selected Hamburg, Germany-based Lufthansa Technik to be a completions center for the recently launched Challenger 850, 870 and 890 corporate shuttles.
