Revised Air-taxi APIS Rules Going into Effect

A reminder that Customs & Border Protection regulations for transmission of crew and passenger information for commercial operators will be changing on Monday (June 6). In addition to the current requirement for transmission of manifest information for passengers and crewmembers onboard commercial vessels and aircraft in advance of arrival in the U.S., operators will be required to transmit information in advance of departure from the U.S. as of June 6. An Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) transmission also will be required for crewmembers and non-crewmembers onboard commercial aircraft that overfly the U.S.
