FlightSafety International (FSI) has become the first non-domestic training organization to obtain a Part 147 maintenance training certificate from the General Administration of Civil Aviation in China. The CCAR-147 approval follows FlightSafety’s certification by the Chinese aviation authority to provide initial and recurrent pilot training for the Embraer ERJ 145.
“This important milestone demonstrates our ability and desire to work with aviation authorities around the world to provide our customers with comprehensive training that enhances safety,” said Bruce Whitman, FlightSafety president and CEO.
CCAR-certified Part 147 training is currently offered at FlightSafety’s Paris
Le Bourget Training Center and will be expanded to other FlightSafety locations
as required.
