Adam Taps SaferJett for A500/700 Training

With new management and the goal of transforming itself from a development company to a lean production aircraft company, Adam Aircraft put a key foundation block in place this week at the NBAA Convention when it signed a 10-year agreement with SaferJett to provide training for the A700 VLJ and A500 centerline-thrust pressurized piston twin. SaferJett, initially created as a crew resource management company, has formed partnerships to provide the Adam A700 training. Hillwood Development, a Ross Perot company, will provide the new 50,000-sq-ft training facility and some other infrastructure at Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas, that is due to open late next year. Aerosim Technologies will supply aviation training devices and virtual flight decks; Mechtronix Systems, FTDs, including a level-D full-motion simulator; and Pelesys Learning Systems, computer-based training programs. Both the A500 and A700 programs will use elements of the FAA/Industry Training Standards (FITS) program.
