Rockwell Collins’ Pro Line 21 Integrated Display System (IDS) STC for the Dassault Falcon 50 is now available to its dealer network, and the avionics maker said it plans to do the same for other models soon. “By making the Pro Line 21 IDS STC available to our entire dealer network, more Falcon 50 operators will have access to a modern flight deck that will enhance their aircraft’s value and accommodate future aviation requirements,” said Rockwell Collins v-p and general manager for business and regional systems Denny Helgeson. The Pro Line 21 IDS upgrade includes LCD screens, TCAS, TAWS and communication and flight management systems. The STC offering for the Falcon 50 is part of Rockwell Collins’ broader program to make more STCs available to dealers, a strategy that is expected to reduce installation costs. Other Pro Line 21 IDS STCs owned by Rockwell Collins include the Piaggio Avanti and Hawker 800A; pending STCs include the Hawker Beechcraft King Air C90 and 200.
