Excelaire Expands Facilities

ExcelAire has expanded its facilities at Islip MacArthur Airport in Long Island, N.Y., with the acquisition of a 110,000-sq-ft FBO. The facility–formerly owned by Garrett Aviation– offers fuel and line service, as well as passenger and crew services. The company has also expanded the scope of its maintenance, management and charter services as a result of the extension.

“We are growing at a rapid pace, and the 110,000 square feet ideally meets our needs for more space at MacArthur Airport,” said ExcelAire president Bob Sherry. “Importantly, the new facility allows us the ability to manage additional airplanes and provide additional services for our private jet and maintenance customers.”
