An NTSB investigation is under way into the fatal crash of Mitsubishi MU-2B N755AF while on the approach to Baltimore Washington Airport (BWI) during a flight from Philadelphia on May 14. The sole-occupant pilot was killed when the twin turboprop, owned and operated by Epps Air Service, went down in a residential area just short of the runway. Visibility at BWI at the time of the accident, about 7:15 a.m., was reported as six miles in haze. Meanwhile, Mexican government aviation officials are looking into the fatal crash of Twin Commander 840 XC-JEH after an apparent loss of control following an encounter with weather while in cruise in IMC near Milpillas on May 2. The two pilots and five passengers were killed.
