The new Raisbeck Learjet 35ZR will be introduced this month
at the NBAA Convention in Orlando, Fla., and the first highly modified twinjet (S/N 634, N626BM, registered to Jet Air Holdings of Wilmington, Del.) will be on static display at Orlando Executive Airport during the show. “The latest aerodynamic composite technology is incorporated in the Learjet 35ZR design, providing significantly increased range at reduced fuel consumption, along with increased across-the-board airplane performance,” according to officials from Seattle-based Raisbeck Engineering. Elements of the Raisbeck Learjet 35ZR include double-delta 45-degree-swept inboard leading edges, outboard trailing-edge horizontal winglets (Raisbeck calls them Batwings) and recontoured trailing-edge flaps.
