New FBO Wings into Conroe, Texas

Construction of Wing Aviation has begun at Montgomery County Airport in Conroe, Texas. The new facility, scheduled to be in operation by next April, will include a 54,000-sq-ft hangar for airframe and avionics maintenance, custom refurbishing and detailing. Wing intends to specialize in Gulfstream maintenance. In addition, the company will provide complete line services, according to president John Wing. Frank Zimerman, formerly a supervising aircraft technician for 20 years for Tenneco in Houston, was named director of operations and maintenance for the new facility. Wing Aviation is currently involved in corporate aircraft ownership and management.
