For those flying to the NBAA Convention in Orlando this month, there’s new ownership at one of the FBOs at Orlando Executive Airport (ORL), which hosts the NBAA static display. Sheltair Orlando Executive and Fort Lauderdale Jet Center acquired the general aviation operations and real-estate rights of Executive Air Center at ORL. The acquisition includes more than 200,000 square feet of hangar storage space on the airport. Now known as Orlando Jet Center, the recently refurbished FBO joins four other sister operations in the growing Florida chain. The others are located at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), Miami International Airport (MIA), Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) and Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB).
