Free Upgrade for Some TFE731-2 Operators

Certain operators of the Learjet 30 and Falcon 10/100 series are eligible to receive a free upgrade that converts their Honeywell TFE731-2 engines to -2C versions. To qualify for the free upgrade, operators must be on Honeywell’s maintenance service plan (MSP) and meet one of the following criteria: engines are approaching core zone inspection; engines require scheduled or nonscheduled core maintenance or engines require replacement of hot-section hardware. Operators that do not qualify for the free upgrade, but are enrolled in MSP, can purchase the -2C upgrade kit for $85,000 each. Kits cost $150,000 for operators not enrolled in MSP.
