Early last month ChevronTexaco’s general aviation division announced it would join with distributor Hiller Group to expand its marketing territory into the Midwest
and Northeast. Based in Tampa, Fla., Hiller currently supports more than 220 branded FBOs. The new territories, known as Texaco General Aviation Services, will fall under the Texaco brand. When Chevron and Texaco merged, the new company agreed to continue to market its general aviation fuel under the single brand names of either Chevron or Texaco. ChevronTexaco General Aviation Company general manager Dale Anderson said, “This new organization will serve and support Texaco regional jobbers and key strategic accounts. The Hiller team will represent the Texaco brand well in
these areas.”
