Content Body

According to the 13-year-old lone survivor of the April 4 crash of a King Air B200 that took the lives of six others, including her mother and father, “everything seemed fine” until they were close to landing. The NTSB reported she felt the airplane enter a left turn and become “almost completely upside down.” After briefly straightening out, she said, the airplane entered another left turn with a bank angle of the same severity. The airplane then rolled level “just for a second” and then went into a dive “straight down” until it hit a building. The steep turns apparently didn’t concern her. She had flown with the pilot before and knew he “liked to make sharp turns.”
