AIN has surveyed charter operators throughout the U.S. and farther afield, and the consensus is clear: demand for charter aircraft has never been higher. A strong economy, the global market, deteriorating airline service and the advent of jet card and membership programs have all contributed to the industry’s health.
Accommodating the increased demand has not been painless, however. Increased regulation and oversight–on both sides of the Atlantic–and a shortage of airplanes and pilots top the list of operators’ concerns.
This AIN special report addresses these issues and provides more in-depth coverage of the subjects most affecting the charter industry, including the A008 OpSpec, the environment and fleet and business expansions.
