Touching Bases:Salinas site of new FBO

Central Coast Aviation announced plans to build an FBO facility, to be called Salinas Jet Center, at Salinas Municipal Airport near California’s Monterey Peninsula. Groundbreaking is scheduled to take place next year, and the Jet Center will include more than 100,000 sq ft of hangar space, 40,000 sq ft of office space, a hotel, restaurant and conference center. Former Delta Air Lines pilot Gary Vincenz founded Central Coast Aviation four years ago. The FBO offers Avfuel jet-A and avgas, complimentary limousine service and a free bottle of wine with every 100 gallons purchased.
