Dassault Falcon 2000, Stilesville, Ind., April 14, 2006–Falcon N722JB was at FL250 en route from Springfield, Ill., to Dayton, Ohio, when the left engine cowl flew off and hit the horizontal stabilizer, damaging the lower spar. The crew heard a loud noise and thought something had hit the airplane. All the engine and electrical systems seemed normal, but there was a slight difference in airplane sound. Diverting to Stilesville, the airplane, registered to Clos de Berry Leasing of New Carlisle, Ohio, landed without incident. The pilot and copilot were not injured.
