New Arcadia hangars completed

Arcadia Aviation’s new 23,000-sq-ft hangar facility at Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport in Martinsburg, W.Va., was finished in the middle of last month, just in time for the reopening of the airport’s 8,800-foot ILS runway. Arcadia’s new hangars have doors that are 28 feet high (to accommodate the Global Express and G550), offices and maintenance shop facilities in each hangar and enhanced privacy and security. Arcadia also has space available to build larger hangars to suit, including facilities capable of accommodating a Boeing 757.

“This is the first step in realizing a focused plan for providing top-notch facilities and services dedicated to tenant aircraft,” said president Robert Garrett Jr. “Our Martinsburg location is strategically located in close proximity to both Washington and Baltimore, without the costs and congestion associated with airports that are overloaded with transient and commercial aircraft.”
