Wing Aviation adds third paint facility in Houston

Less than two years after breaking ground on its second paint facility, Wing Aviation has announced that principal construction on its third paint hangar has been completed at the company’s Lone Star Executive Airport facility located just north of Houston in Conroe, Texas.

According to president Brian Wing, the new paint hangar will feature the same water treatment equipment currently used in the company’s two existing paint hangars. It is an automated treatment system designed to exceed current and known future requirements set forth by the EPA and TECQ. The new hangar will also use Wing Aviation’s stripping, metal and composite processes and has wash-rack capabilities identical to the others.

The new 20,000-sq-ft facility is large enough to accommodate the Global Express, Gulfstream V and regional jets.
