Traffic Lights Signal Charter Background Checks

ARG/US, the Cincinnati-based aviation services company, has introduced TripCheq, a charter evaluation and qualification system. By providing ARG/US with aircraft registration numbers, pilot certificate numbers and the charter operator’s certificate number, TripCheq responds with one of three responses: a green light when the operators are ARG/US approved, pilots are properly certified and there is no major accident or questionable maintenance history; a yellow light when some data is missing or can’t be verified; and a red light when there is a known deficiency or when the operator is unwilling to disclose information. Individual TripCheq reports are $249. An annual subscription costs $5,000.
