Trajen begins work on new complex at HWD

At its Hayward facility (HWD), Trajen Flight Support recently broke ground on a 60,000-sq-ft corporate condo-hangar complex. The new facility is scheduled for occupancy by the end of this quarter. Trajen reports that the majority of hangar space has been spoken for in the new facility. HWD is about six miles south of Oakland International Airport. The former military facility is considered an alternative to other, more crowded gateways to the Bay area. It has parallel runways of 5,024 and 3,107 feet and has localizer/DME and GPS instrument approaches.

Stafford Regional, the newest Washington, D.C.-area airport, recently awarded the FBO leasehold to Trajen, a division of Trajen Aerospace (see page 54). Trajen Flight Support also operates an FBO in Sacramento, Calif.
