Cabin Electronics Market Gains Another Player

International Communications Group, a Newport News, Va.-based supplier of electronic communications equipment to operators of airliner-size aircraft, has introduced a family of products that the company said is tailored for installation in midsize to large business jets. The ICS-100 Iridium transceiver is the first product in a new family of communications devices for business aviation, scheduled for formal rollout in the coming weeks and months. Voice communication devices from ICG include the Aerocom 1000 and 3000 communication units, satcom transceivers, data devices, and cabin LANs and routers. ICG also offers flight-deck handsets, retractor-reel cabin handsets and cordless handsets.
