NASA Releases Pilot Survey Results

As promised, NASA in December released responses collected from the airline and general aviation pilot surveys as part of the National Aviation Operational Monitoring Service (NAOMS) project from April 2001 through December 2004. However, the safety data is heavily redacted and published in raw form, making it difficult to glean any useful conclusions. The space agency said it has no intention of analyzing the data, though it will try to release additional NAOMS information this year.
